About the Author

Carlos Souza is a global brand ambassador for Valentino and a contributor at Architectural Digest with over forty years of experience in the art and fashion world. His photography career began at the request of Andy Warhol, who asked him to shoot fashion shows for Interview. He has previously worked with Assouline on #Carlos’s Places (2014) and Comporta Bliss (2018).

Charlene Shorto was born in Recife, Brazil, and educated in Switzerland and Great Britain. She is wed to Carlos Souza and has two sons, Sean and Anthony. The family moved to Rome, where Charlene worked tirelessly under the fashion designer Valentino, eventually ascending to the position of director of Oliver by Valentino. Shorto also collaborated with Souza on Comporta Bliss (2018).

RETURN POLICY

Inventaire will exchange or refund goods received back to us in Montreal within 20 days of order date. All goods must be returned unworn and in perfect condition.

Clients are responsible for return shipping charges. If there was a mistake on the part of Inventaire or in the case an item was faulty or damaged, client will be reimbursed for both delivery and return shipping charges.

Returns are processed within 5 business days of receipt. Please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for your refund (returned items less any shipping costs) to post to your credit card. All refunds will be given in the same method as original payment.

Please note that we do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods. Inventaire will not refund international duties and taxes. For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs bureau.

RETURNS ON SALE ITEMS

Sales items are eligible for exchange or store credit only. Sale items must be received back to Inventaire within 20 days of order date, and follow the same qualifications as returns on non-sale items (detailed above).

Inventaire does not hold items for exchange.

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

Inventaire is not able to alter or cancel orders once they have been placed. Refused packages are subject to a restocking fee.

SALE PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

Inventaire offers a sale price adjustment on items purchased up to 7 days prior to the commencement date of a sale. Adjustments must be claimed within 7 days of sale start date. Sale price adjustments will be credited to your Inventaire account in the form of a store credit.

Please be aware that the exact style and size of an item must be available for purchase when request is made. We are unable to offer price adjustments on items originally purchased on sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price.

PRICE MATCH POLICY

Inventaire will match the price of non-sale styles available on other websites. Found a better price elsewhere? Please email us a link and we'll adjust your order and match the price. The exact style, color and size must be available at the lower price when submitting the request. Style must be represented on a website located and shipping from within the United States which sells clothing in US dollars. Requests can be made when placing your order or within Inventaire's 20 day return window.

RETURNS ON SPECIAL ORDERS

All special orders and items made to order are non-refundable. A 50% deposit is required when placing a special order and is non-refundable.
